1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is AppVisia LTD (Company No. 17211529), 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("we"). For any privacy question or request, email support@idefnetvpn.com.
2. What we never collect
When you are connected to the VPN, we do not collect, log or store:
- your browsing history or the websites and apps you use;
- your original IP address or the IP addresses assigned to you;
- DNS queries made through our servers;
- connection or disconnection timestamps, session duration or traffic contents;
- the amount of data transferred per session.
Because these records do not exist, we cannot produce them for anyone — including in response to legal requests.
3. What we do collect

We never see or store your full card number: payments are processed by our payment providers (for example Stripe), which are certified to PCI DSS Level 1.
4. Cookies and website analytics
Our website may use cookies for essential functionality (such as keeping you signed in) and privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (pages visited, visit duration). Website analytics are never linked to your VPN usage. You can block cookies in your browser; the website will still work.
5. Third-party processors
We share data only with processors that are necessary to run the Service, under data-processing agreements:
- Payment providers (e.g. Stripe) — to process payments and refunds;
- Email and support tooling — to deliver service emails and answer support tickets;
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the website and account dashboard;
- Crash-reporting and analytics tools — receiving only anonymized diagnostics.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.
6. Legal requests
We disclose data to authorities only when legally compelled by a valid order in a jurisdiction that applies to us — and even then we can only disclose the limited data described in section 3, because VPN activity logs do not exist.
7. Security
VPN traffic is protected with AES-256 and ChaCha20 encryption over WireGuard® and IKEv2. Account data is stored encrypted at rest, access is restricted on a need-to-know basis, and we are moving our VPN fleet to RAM-only servers that wipe all data on every reboot.
8. Your rights
If you are in the UK, EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with similar laws (GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Data retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your subscription is active. If you delete your account or it remains inactive after your subscription ends, we delete personal data within 12 months, except payment records we must keep for tax purposes. You can request immediate deletion at any time.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page. We will notify you by email or in the app before material changes take effect.
